Mary A (Shaw) Holt

Mary Shaw Holt, born 28 January 1945 to Milton Amos and Ora Overturf Shaw died 13 January 2026. She is predeceased by both parents, and two brothers, Virgil and Junior Shaw. She was born in Jefferson County, Arkansas and raised in Garland County, Arkansas. She married Alfred H. Holt in 1965. 
She is survived by husband, Al Holt of Mode, IL; three sons and spouses, Brad and Teresa Holt of Brocton, IL, Robert and Nicki Holt of Neoga, IL, and Michael and Candis Holt of Palacios, TX. Four grandsons, Cody, Austin, Jesse and  Cheyenne, and Dylan and Lisa Holt and one granddaughter, Olivia Holt; one great-grandson Elliott Holt; One sister and spouse Vivian and Bill Robertson of Hot Springs AR; two step-granddaughters, Jodi and Sarah; one step-grandson Randy; seven step-great-granddaughters, five step-great-grandsons, four step-great-great-grandsons and three step-great-great-granddaughters. 
Per her wishes Mary will be cremated by Swengel- O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois.
Her ashes will be spread in Mode, Illinois and Hot Springs, Arkansas. 

Mary was dedicated to family her entire life. She enjoyed gardening, painting, poetry, sewing, cooking, and providing love in countless ways to all of her family.
